I think that the kind of person who'd believe "People like being raped" would be completely ignorant and oblivious to the way people think, but at the same time, from the number of rapings and cases of abuse we hear about, it is very likely that many people actually believe that this is the case. I don't really know about hentai, since I'm too young and innocent to watch cartoon porn, but I'm guessing there's loads of rape in there. I could infer from that that the sort of people who watch hentai will start to see rape as normal and something insignificant. I would not underestimate the power that the media one engages with can recondition the way one thinks in the most horrible and depraved way.

I hardly think most rapists think that their victims actually enjoy the rape. Raping in most cases stems from a desire to exercise power over other people.

Well, in my post, I believe I called it wishful thinking.

It seems most rapists can be assigned to different categories depending on what their motives for rape is. Here's a quotation from the wikipedia article on causes of sexual violence.

And in some cases, they believe that victim may be coaxed into enjoying it, somehow.

And when it comes to child rape, often, the rapist has no desire to exercise power as such. It comes from the desire to have sex with them regardless of the victim's feelings.
