Slightly condtradicting...one minute you're saying society encourages shaving in women which you don't agree with and then you're saying that you would consider public hair a deal breaker?

shaving has nothing to do with hygiene; if anything it exposes the body more to STDs from all the tiny open wounds (your body has hair for a reason). it's strictly a societal expectation, and a puzzling one at that.

and i'm much the same way. i'd rather a girl shaves her pits n' whatever else is immediately visible but i find it juvenile and immature to see a hairless fanny. trimmed, ABSOLUTELY, but completely shaven is somewhat of a turn-off. also...a landing strip is really sexy.

But let's really get down to it guys, us women are the ones that can decide whether we like shaved, trimmed or bushy. If a guy doesn't like what he sees then he can miss out on getting lucky

But as for the shaving thing, yea, women... you girls just shave whatever you want. All I ask is that I'm not mortally injured when sliding by your legs, and your bush doesn't require a weedwhacker. Underarms, eh, I'd prefer not getting distracted by your pit hair, but if you insist on having it, then I'll just keep my attention on your snatch where it quite obviously belongs.

I don't think it has to be unnatural to not like hairy girls. Girls by average are less hairy than guys and there's probably a reason for that. I think guys like women who are feminine and having hairy legs for example is just not a very feminine trait. We don't know that the caveman didn't feel the same way, so this view doesn't have to be a modern phenomena.

About shaving the pubes, I've read some advices against it from sexologists. One reason to have them is of course that they greatly multiply the surface area down there and so pheromones and other smells that we respond to (turn us on) have a lot more to stick to. I believe that pubic hair is natural and it's sad that on the whole, so many are becoming so uncomfortable with it. I'm not saying I like girls who smell like a toilet :p I like them to be clean and I also much prefer to be clean myself before I engage in anything, but I don't mind if they don't shave their genitalia. I'd rather they shave their legs and armpits, actually.
