"Pussy" is one of those American words that just sounds completely wrong when passing through the lips of an Englishman. It's the perfect word for vagina and sounds right in my head, but makes me feel awkward when spoken. :confused:
The reverse equivalent might be when an American uses the word "bollocks".
The accent and intonation has a lot to do with it.

What is the...erm...British equivalent to pussy?
