I like to think I wouldn't. This applies if they're in a relationship too.

I have never been with a married man but kissed a few guys with girlfriends. This was back when I was a teenager though.

I do not have nearly the life experience to have the common sense to turn down some married tramp trying to stick her hand down my pants. Come and get it ladies, jewelry optional.

This question was asked amongst the 100 or so in attendance and, needless to say, it got pretty heated. In my opinion, single people can do whatever the hell they want, rightly or wrongly. Married people, on the other hand, made an oath to be with one person and one person ONLY until they die. Is that realistic? I'd say no. Be that as it may, I thought it would be great dialogue here regardless. So, without further ado, let the discussion commence. I look forward to comments BOTH pro and con ( ).
As a single guy (read: not married), I can basically do whatever the hell I want and there's not any significant repercussion. However, f*cking a married woman creates sort of a dilemma. On one hand, if she's out for it, I wouldn't be breaking anything that isn't already broken. However, on the other hand, there's a potential of becoming entangled in drama, and as a single person, drama is the one thing I'm fortunate enough to not have to live through. With that said, I opt for not creating drama in my life. A piece of ass is just a piece of ass. It's not worth the risk. Drama from an unmarried (or otherwise un-devoted) lover is easy. Drama from a married one introduces another less savory factor.

Hmm, the only married man I've ever been with is the one married to me. I'm very happy to keep it this way.

Honestly, the very idea of being with someone who belongs to someone else (and in the marriage oath that is what happens, an exchange of persons) revolts me. If he is so low that he would cheat on his wife, then why would I want him? And if I try to tell myself that "it's just for me. It's just because he loves me oh-so-much. He wouldn't cheat if it were not for the torrid passion we share" -- well, that is just me trying to fool myself.

i ****ed a married woman once. she was basically a slut who got off on cheating on her husband. i didn't know who her husband was so i didn't really consider it my problem. i would feel worse if it was like they had a happy marriage and i came in and home wrecked it. but that wasn't it. she was just a freak. and she gave me lessons i'll tell you that.

I feel like the question posed leaves out those who voluntarily have open marriages. It's not like there's only one way to get married.

Anyways, in a more traditional case I guess I would under certain circumstances. For a quick fling or onenighter nah... there are others out there who, like FD already said, don't come with the same risk of drama. But if I developed a loving relationship with someone who became disinterested or whatever in their spouse then sure, I'd sleep with them.

Me and my wife separated for about 3 months way back in 1986. I had a very early mid life crisis.

Those were 90 days of total debauchery.

(she made me crawl back on my knees for what it's worth)
