Apparently this was EMI's rejection letter to the metal band Venom.

I read in Kerrang years ago that Venom sent out their demo tapes packaged up with a load of dead insects & rotting meat. I wonder if that letter was a response to that.

^ If this is true it's fecking epic. Love 'em or hate 'em there's just no way to deny Venom's influence in the evolution of metal.
