I haven't played pokemon since I was very young, I just thought it was clever and there seems to be a pokemon theme going on. Btw, the punchline is that the pokemon in the picture is called Dugtrio.

Yea I get that... Still isn't funny for me other than making a cheesy pun because I don't have the background necessary for it to be comedic.
