Dad rock comes in many forms: Steve Wilson, Devon Townsend (mostly), 12 minute U2 live videos, Marillion, etc. There's good dad rock like The Who and Zeppelin and that ****, but largely it's rock that has no value besides nostalgia or ripping off nostalgic acts.

And FTR, I'm just busting with ya. I enjoy most of the stuff you play.
I kind of figured as far as this thread goes, but you seemed rather upset that I was playing music you probably wouldn't hear on the radio yesterday though. I just wanted to fill you in on the mute option.

I wasn't upset. Sorry if it came off that way. I was pretty tipsy though.

I've never heard Steven Wilson, Devon Townsend, or Marillion on the radio for what it's worth.

And I'll always choose listening to your picks over choosing the 4'33 mute button.

Fair enough, really sounded like it tbh. That's why I kept accusing you of grumpy old man syndrome.

I think I've heard Porcupine Tree once or twice but I wouldn't really know because I don't listen to the radio since I'm too cool and intelligent for it.

Our definitions of grumpy and mad are just 34 years removed. We need to cut each other more slack becasue of that.
