I never really considered it. I just thought it was a swear word.

:laughing: I can empathize. For a long time I thought it was synonymous with "shit."

we had cow-pulled carts called "bullock carts"

That was the first time I remember seeing it used to actually describe something. Every other time it has been placed where any other swear could be.
