Well, with Dan Deacon it's more about the scene than the music and that's why I can't stand him or anyone associating themselves the Wham City scene. To be fair, I find the music tolerable, but I wouldn't ever really get into it though.

The whole "Wham City scene" thing gets a little obnoxious, but I love Dan Deacon because he's absolutely fucking hilarious and his music is pretty interesting. It's too bad that he became a novelty act for hipsters, but no one can control that....only Pitchfork
