I thought it was funny, I just didn't comment on it.

It's a Pokemon reference which I can understand people not getting that part but the idea of two towns being shipped you should be able to get.

"shipping" refers to taking two characters or people and making up erotica based off of the two that you pick.

the erotica is usually called fanfiction.

so it's pretty funny that two towns would be sexing it up instead of people.
