Thanks Planks.

Does that stew taste spicy at all (cayenne pepper, allspice)? Going for a more gravy kind of taste.

Teeny tiny small spice to it, but overall it's all about bringing out the flavor of the meat, which it does quite well. It's actually a really complex pallet with all of those ingredients. I used to make it with my daughter when she was just a little one, and it was her and her Grandfather's favorite. They didn't like spicy foods at the time, so you're safe.

Will be Chicken Cacciatore after about 8 hours in the slow cooker on low. Veggies should be just about melted at the end.
The sauce is crushed tomatoes, tomato paste, red wine, oregano, basil, bay leaves, and fresh diced garlic.

Some pasta and garlic bread will finish the deal.

Sesame ginger tofu stirfry with shiritake noodles.

Never had these noodles before. I am impressed with how good they mimic real pasta.

italian pasta was derived from asian noodles ;)

Are asian noodles made from dough? These are made from yams. Pretty awesome, but they are flavorless.

I used teriyaki, soy sauce, and sriracha to get some flavor into them.

Do any of the Americans on here know this or can get it in the US? I'm assuming it'd be available around California if anything - Marie Sharp's Fine Foods Ltd. Proud Products of Belize
