Not exactly a recipe but has anyone ever tried fresh strawberries with freshly ground black pepper or even balsamic vinegar. Oh that's so good.

Default Recipes

I'm moving out of my parent's house again next year (last year I lived in dorms at uni and I came back for the summer) and I'll need to start cooking and eating my own food, as last year I ate from the cafeteria. I've been getting a lot of practice over the summer cooking for my family, doing basic pasta dishes, roasted chicken + veg, hamburgers, etc.

Anybody have any good, cheap, easy student recipes they want to share? I'm particularly on the lookout for casserole stuff because goddamn, it ****ing rules.

you know the best recipe i have to give? Hamburger Helper!!!

buy a pound of ground beef and the rest speaks for itself. If you are feeling fancy, depending on which one you pick up you can always add some chopped tomatoes to it.

Oh you must try the Taco whatever one. It's awesome. It has corn chips and nacho cheese that you put over the top.

Another one of my favorites is making Beef fried rice. fracking perfection.

Pastas and risottos and stir frys are easy. Look up 'easy recipes' on the net and there's loads of good ones. That's what I do

Cheesy Quesadilla is the best hamburger helper ever.

Also get a pasta recipe book, you can make a great pasta meal to feed 2 for about 4-6 dollars on average. If you buy in bulk it's even cheaper.
