Does anyone have any good cheap recipes for three people?

1 pound hamburg.
1 jar ragu. 1 pound spaghetti. Brown the burg, add the ragu, a pinch of sugar, a tiny squirt of mustard, some Italian Seasoning, and let simmer while you cook the pasta. viola! (seriously, the sauce is pretty damn good with the extra stuff added. just go easy on the mustard and use the plain yellow stuff)

Ah yes, I do the pasta with meat sauce quite often (we're eating that tomorrow). I usually get alfredo sauce as well.

Another nice addition is to crush up a couple of Ritz crackers and sprinkle them on top. Poor mans tuna casserole.

Spanish omelette.
Just need eggs, potatoes and onions and some oil. Dirt cheap ingredients. Small frying pan, chop two onions and a few potatoes (chop them thin and small) then pour over the beaten eggs once fried with the onions. I use six eggs (for myself but I am a bit fat), can't really put an amount on how much you should use but just use your eyes innit. |

Pound of hamburger
1 can diced tomatoes 1 can corn 1 can black beans 1 packet taco seasoning Cook the hamburger with taco seasoning, then add the rest and let heat. Delicious with chips or tortillas or by itself. This recipe should feed with leftovers. |

YUM!
3 large boneless, skinless chicken breasts 1 large sweet onion 1 large orange 1/4 cup orange juice 2 tblsp olive oil 2 tsp oregano 1 tsp cumin 1 tsp garlic powder 1 tsp dried ginger - rinse the breasts and pat dry. coat both sides liberally with salt and pepper - pour the orange juice into a crock pot - cut the onion into course slices and add about 1/2 to the crock pot - create a slurry with the oil and spices and then rub all over the chicken - lay the chicken on top of the onions in the pot - cut the orange into four wedges then squeeze the juice over top of the chicken - lay the 4 wedges rind side down on top of the chicken - add the rest of the onion - cover and cook on low for about 6-7 hours - remove the meat and shred it into a bowl - strain the juices from the crock pot and mix them up with the meat - add a couple of turns of oil to a large frying pan and heat it up nice and hot - add the meat and cook on high until you develop a nice crust Warm up some tortillas and serve with your topping of choice. We used cabbage, salsa, sour cream, and cilantro.
