Today I was playing around with my ice cream maker and I made a Crème Anglaise ice cream with strawberry compote swirls mixed with pieces of shortcake.

I didn't quite get the swirls correct but other than that it came out perfectly & tastes amazing.
And apart from the shortcake I made everything from scratch so I'm feeling rather pleased with myself.

Pretty much what I do near enough.

Mix my seasoning into the flour, also if you put a little corn starch in the flour it makes the chicken extra crispy.

My seasoning is made up of:

Salt
Ground black pepper
Garlic granules
Onion granules
Oregano

I had fish, chips, mushy peas, battered sausage and a saveloy for tea. Was 5* .

I broil my bacon because I find it's the easiest way to get it super crispy, which is how I like my bacon.

I don't get people who eat unsmoked bacon.

Or people who don't cook it until the fat is crispy and you get those stretchy pieces of gristly fat on it.
