Gonna do a pasta primavera today with grilled chicken. Chicken's in the fridge bathing in Italian dressing.

- olive oil
- sliced garlic
- red pepper flakes
- red and yellow bell peppers
- sugar snap peas
- shredded carrots
- spiral cut zucchini
- cherry tomatoes
- shredded parmesan and goat cheese
- farfalle pasta
- tomato sauce and heavy cream

Mix together and then top with fresh chopped mint, more goat cheese, and sliced chicken.

I'm doing salsa & chili dogs today.

2 - Hebrew National Hot Dogs
2 - Potato Bread Hot Dog Buns
1 - Can of Chili Man (No Bean) Chili
1 - Tub of Chefs Kitchen salsa from the local Jewel grocery store
1 - Bag of Cape Cod potato chips

Heat chili in microwave (in a microwave safe bowl) for 2 minutes and 30 seconds. Heat hot dogs for 1 minute in microwave, then place in buns. Take one large scoop of chili and pour over one of the hot dogs/bun. Take one large scoop of salsa and pour over other hot dog/bun. Grab a handful of chips and place on plate next to hot dogs. They'll instantly become friends and chill together as you pour a tall glass of cold milk. Lunch is served.

Bonus: Don't forget to finish off the rest of that bowl of chili.

Added bonus for later: 2-3 Tums for the debilitating heart burn.

I really liked the crispy chicken quesadilla from Taco Bell that they had, but it's like $3.50 on it's own so I decided to make my own and the ****'s cheaper, better and bigger.. it's poor people's food, but it's good poor folks food.

All you gotta do is buy a big bag of frozen chicken fingers, the thin cheap ones I don't think the fancier kind will have as good of texture in this, some cheese that you can shred or is already shredded, and some burrito-sized flour tortillas. Bake enough chicken to cover half of a tortilla (you don't want much open space, so load it up), then put the cheese on the tortilaa, put the baked chicken on top of that and I put hot sauce on there too and bake it for a few more minutes til the cheese is melted. The cheaper you can get the cheese and chicken the better, but it's a good snack or meal in less than 20 minutes if you're not exactly Rockfeller.

Anybody else think Haagen-Dazs is really overrated? I just had some for the first time in ages, and Ben & Jerry's puts it to shame, and the local microcreameries over here put even B&Js to shame.

There is WORK food, and there is HOME food.

Looks like you've got it backwards, but if you can pull it off, you're a champ!

We have a full kitchen here where I work, so I get confused at times.

Where am I now? Is this the airport Clark? Is Rusty still in the Navy?

Most notable food-related ~experience of 2017: Ordering three (3) whole orders of macaroni & cheese via DoorDash at 8pm (for yourself, no one else) and then having to look the delivery guy in the eye while knowing that he now knows you're just a pitiful macaroni-hoarding goblin.

Lol why wouldn't you lie and say they're for someone else? Also, who the hell isn't a macaroni-hoarding goblin? Especially if it has bacon on it.
