What is the point of twice baking potatoes?

Twice baked potatoes are where you bake potatoes, scoop out the insides (leaving the skins intact) and make them into mashed potatoes with all of your sour cream, butter, bacon bits, and other fixins in there and put it back into the potato skins. Then you add some cheese on top and bake it for a little while longer to make it nice and golden. Very delicious.

Cannot stress enough how good they are. One of my favorite foodstuffs.

Ooo.. That does sound good, I've heard of it before, but didn't know that was the process.

You want pics? I went so far as to buy deli fresh slabs of bacon. (finely diced chives over the finished product is the deal closer.)

The first time I had them was when I invented them at like seven years old and my grandma made them for me (she had done them before of courses). Bow down to my unintentionally plagiarized genius.

I would help cook a lot (probably what led to my "cooking instinct" for lack of a better word). Didn't keep those IDEAS locked in though. You can't lock this brain down, fascist.
