^That seems like such a sad dinner. I don't know how you do it.

It's not that hard when you are truly disgusted by the animal agriculture industry. Also, I really like all those things. Not saying there isn't room for improvement in what I consume, but it's a start.

@Monkey.. the murder is the most "humane" part about the industry. All the things leading up to it are way worse.

what are your thoughts on all the advancements in gentically engineered meat over the past few years DWV? would you re-incorporate meat products into your diet if you knew the treatment of animals and cesspool slaughterhouses weren't part of the process?

I would eat meat plants all day. What if we genetically modified animals to want to get eaten?

At this point probably not just because of health reasons.. Vegan diets when done right are just better. I think the genetically engineered meat is a great thing though. That's not to say I would never indulge, but I wouldn't make it a part of my regular diet.

yeah, i think it's great as well. i fully acknowledge the down sides of the current meat industry but i just couldn't cut it out of my diet. would and will definitely make the switch when it becomes more available and affordable.

^ Also (not that anyone asked me, granted) vegetables are more inherently flavorful, typically. At the very least I always try to abstain from beef because I LOVE cows.

In other news, I keep forgetting to eat lately. My appetite mysteriously vanished (aside from my usual lifelong macaroni and cheese cravings) a few weeks ago. So I've eaten nothing since yesterday afternoon. I would make macaroni, but we don't have any acceptable cheese.
