Made lamb yesterday and it was so good it ruined my life. Recipe was very simple: sear in butter and olive oil, then summer for two and a half hours with carrots, stuffed olives, onions, honey, spices to taste (I think I put ground mustard, pepper, garlic, oregano, cumin, and cayenne in there, I was drunk and don't remember), Guinness extra stout, and Flying Dog double dog double ipa. All served on a bed of mashed potatoes.

Is it that Foreign Extra 7.5% stuff? I use that for cooking all the time, local shop sells it for £1 a bottle :cool:

Really good in cottage pie or any beef based British (and Irish) cooking.

Fried tomato, black pudding (pig's blood mixed with seasoning and fat and other stuff), hash browns.

The stuff in between the beans and the toast is soda bread.
