These boards continue to aggravate me
 

Combining my "crappy" threads into one, and all together closing them. Really.

My dear apologies to those who I may have upset when bringing a new approach to the lounge. Posting about something other than aimless message board "games", and polls about our favorite foods.

It's on. Let the recipe posts continue.

If it's any consolation i did post the idea of a recipe thread...

Your posts are annoying. You spent more time and effort making this thread than you did on any of those removed today. That says something.

I was unaware that the number of responses determines the quality of the post. If they don't interest you, don't read them. Let alone bitch.

Yeah see, but I'm annoyed by spam, I consider it the scourge of message boards, and basically, you've never been much more than a spammer. That's what spam constitutes, short post with no real thought or effort put into them. That's why your threads got merged and discarded. If you want your threads to be left open don't start about 25 of them at once , and actually put some effort into them.

Just because it's in the lounge doesn't mean anything. We might allow looser posting in The Lounge than on other areas on the boards but there still has to be some standards.

It might have been acceptable here 4 years ago , but now it isn't. We have more members and if we allowed all of them to do what you do this forum would be in utter chaos.

So that was why your threads were all moved to the graveyard.

Wait, are you really implying that this site is at all noteworthy? Nothing about MusicBanter has changed in the past 4 years, other than it has become somewhat of a social networking site, with the addition of member profiles. I understand that every message board has standards, but I don't see how my contributions are far-fetched from. I apologize that I don't feel the need to write a full synopsis and review on the youtube videos I post.
