I'd been eyeing these up for a while now, and finally dropped some coin on a sixer. Not too bad. A little on the hoppy side with some strong citrus tones. Reminds me of the Hefeweizen's I used to get when I was in Deutschland but not as smooth.

Captain Morgan's rum and some root beer or shandy depending on what I pick up.

It's okay. TBH when they came out with it I was concerned about the quality of the seasonal releases this year. I thought their hop supplier or farmer had ****ed up.

I mean, it's good and a nice, refreshing, citrusy, hoppy but not skunks beer, but I come to Lagunitas for the strong stuff and maltier flavour, not this *googles* 6.3%?

...

I think I confused Aunt Sally and the Stoopid Wit. Both are a lot weaker than I'd like, but both are very delicious. Pretty sure I have the right flavour in mind though, Sally's a sour and I would notice that.

On my second lagunitas imperial stout 22 and I have two thoughts.

1: where the **** is he?
2: damn this is really ****ing strong.

cranberry strong ale that tastes like bubblegum with just the right amount of burn for 11% = very satisfied 4.5/5

also while on the subject of lagunitas I've never been disappointed with them except in the case of the stoopid wit, just tasted unbalanced to me when I had it. I even had their pilsner at a mystery beer night a couple days ago and enjoyed it even though I usually don't care for the style. my favorites of theirs are brown shugga and 12th of never.
