Is it just me or does regular Carlsberg and Carlsberg export taste the exact same?

It's weird, but it depends where you are. I remember when I was living in Scotland Carlsberg Export had a real punch to it, unlike the regular stuff. When I moved back to England, it's pretty much the same deal. They're all boring, cheap, production-line lagers anyway - I'm much more a fan of all the local lagers and ales you can get with a quick trip to a decent pub.

Um... well, I'm not old enough to drink! Besides, this doesn't get you drunk.

When I was in Dublin their Carlsberg was pretty decent. I think it's like Guinness, somewhere that has clean pipes and pours it regularly will always triumph over canned or bottled.

James Squire Pilsener. Not as good as the Amber Ale nor Sundown the bloke does, but can't complain. A tad on the expensive side for a six pack, but they are just chilled drinks, so its not like I am guzzling them. Just a few quiet ones post-work.

I am already pretty drunk. Started off with a white zinfandel, than began drinking some gin mixed with squirt, and had a few shots of some 151 rum to finish things off.

I'll drink Carlsberg. I was drinking it the other night because im a bit stretched for cash and it's the cheapest pint, and is in a lot of places. I'm not a big fan though i must say, it usually makes me feel ill the next day. If i just meant a hangover i wouldn't care less, but i mean ILL. Not good.

You're right about Guinness. Guinness in a good, clean, respectable pub poured by someone who knows how to pour a pint always beats canned or bottled. Especially if that pub is in Dublin.
