Holy crap, I finally found a Sierra Nevada beer I actually like! This beer has always been ridiculously hoppy to the point where I can't taste anything but hops.

I decided to pick up some strong beer today to spite the dry campus policy that ****ed me yesterday. It's a lot tastier than I had expected (double IPAs can be a little much on the fruity hops), it clocks in at 8.5%, and a 6 pack only cost me 8 bucks at the local liquor store. I'd recommend it to thrifty drunkards.

I haven't had any alcohol in almost 30 days, as part of this Whole 30 diet I've been on. I get to drink next Wednesday. I think this is the longest stretch without alcohol of my entire adult life. That may sound like an alcoholic thing to say, but I think the average non-sober adult has at least one alcoholic beverage a week unless they really don't socialize at all and don't drink at home. Even then, they'll likely have one within a month.
