I would recommend it. I would also recommend pacing yourself if you're drinking it.

I will admit drinking this so I can put the bottle on my music memorabilia shelf. I have tried this on draught and I wasn't impressed but it tastes a little better out of the bottle.

Dear lord I am in love with this ale but dear god is it ever expensive. You can only buy them in bottles as shown in the picture and the cheapest I can get them for is $10. Where am I, Canada?

This is actually a pretty good contender with the Rogue pumpkin ale though, and at a much more reasonable price.

It's good- I like it a lot when I'm in the mood for it and it's ****ing fantastic to make liquor-based desserts with. It's made from fennel so it kinda tastes like licorice. Not for everyone for sure and if it's properly made it's very strong. The whole hallucination thing is just a myth.

I am drinking my favorite beer as per usual, Hoegaarden:

http://m.vcst.net/wines/hoegaarden-blanche-435850.jpg

I'm a big fan of Belgian and German wheat beers and for 8$/6 pack this stuff is damn pretty good.

That doesn't even look like a 40oz and it's 10$??? Dayumn. I'm not a fan of pumpkin in any form but that's crazy enough to respond to with that price tag.

+1. Way too over powering a taste for beer, at least for me. I rarely do sweet beers, unless its a rogue chocolate.

Stone IPA is what I'm having tonight!

Last night had a Jubelale from Deschutes. It was okay...

I always find Deschutes to be rather average.

I'm going out to a local bar this evening to avoid the trick-or-treaters and since it's Halloween, I'll be drinking Zombies.

Having a couple of these tonight.

It's morning now, but I have to start my day with one of these, every day:

I was skeptical at first about these because I thought "gross, mountain dew energy drink?" but I tried one and really liked it. Orange Citrus is better than fruit punch though imo.

So damn tasty. My friend wanted to pick up a pack of Pabst Blue Ribbon and I almost decked him and told him to get something that actually resembles beer. I'm glad he came around on paying that extra pesky 2 dollars for the superior beer.

GuD 12-05-2013 02:48 PM

If you're drinking to enjoy it it makes sense to spend more, but if you're just gettin ****ed up why bother? PBR and such do the same damage for half the cost.

I'm having a bit of rum with my coffee.

I do drink to get drunk, but I would still like to enjoy my journey there. I wouldn't call myself a snob but I do have some standards when it comes to cheap alcohol.

Not true. I can drink a sixer of Stone and it is equal to a 12 pack of pbr for overall alcohol volume. I would rather enjoy something that taste better, and those two options would be equal in price.

LoathsomePete 12-05-2013 03:24 PM

http://beerpulse.com/wp-content/uplo...kan-winter.png

Pretty decent spruce beer with a higher than average alcohol content at a reasonable price (6.99 for a six-pack).

When I was 15 a couple bums in Missoula MT got me drunk on my ass with T-Bird, then rolled me. When I came to my mouth tasted like Puree of Horseblanket. Good times....

I had a trusty bum friend who used to pimp beer for me. He would buy me any amount as long as I bought him a bottle of thunderbird. I asked him why he subjected himself to that when I was willing to buy him anything. He said once you get that ****ty taste in your mouth you never go back. I miss ol Kilborne.
