I don't care if it's only a soft drink. this drink is the nectar of the Gods. |
Looks good!
|
It's only the afternoon here but:
'Cause it's Friday; I ain't got no job...and I ain't got shit to do. Dale's Pale Ale from the greatest state in the West. http://gaia.adage.com/images/bin/ima...jpg?1289498610 6.5% and I'll be having more than two. |

It tastes like Turkish Delight |
my god! I'd say it isn't very good for you though! very sugary?
|
No more than any other soft drink.
I'm talking about traditional turkish delight, not the bright pink one covered in chocolate. It's the rose water & ginger that gives it it's flavour. |

I've had some 11%s that have tasted much better than 8%s before, etc. |

Exactly, shur as I always say, as long as it ****s you up, tis alright! Never ye mind whether it is pink or not! I ended up just drinking loads of pure orange juiced last night . Got rightly ****ed up so I did. |

I love that it actually does taste like something from 100 years ago. |

Tasty, and affordable for California brewed around here. Sixer for $8.95. Can't beat that; that's the same they charge here for like, Blue Moon and Magic Hat. |
I love Eye of the Hawk. Delicious. At my favorite local/small chain sandwich place, Beach Hut Deli, they serve it on tap as well as offering "Hawk-shots". Half the price of a tall boy, like 2 dollars a pint.

I just get it because one of the liquor stores around here ordered it to test it out, and I sang its praises so much they always have a sixer at least lying around for me. They know I'll buy it. It's tasty, and certainly tastes nothing like it would as high an ABV as it does; I'd never have guessed its ABV just from tasting. I'd have thought 6% at most. I also love that it's so hearty. Delicious, and something I will buy everytime if I can't afford pints of Bastard, Ruination, or Dogfish Head. |

I drink very rarely ( :o I know, and I am Irish, impossible! )
but when I do, I have a good time. I tend not to like getting ****faced on a night out. |

Happy birthday Bob
Cheers :thumb: |

Happy belated Bob. Been meaning to try that brand. Kind of surprised there are brewers in Sparks. Not the greatest scores on Beer advocate, but decent enough. http://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j...Ipv6jg&cad=rja Had four of these this weekend to change it up, not bad. And one of the coolest looking bottles. http://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j...zMKJ0g&cad=rja Got two of these at my local place, gonna age them for awhile. Coolest bottle ever though, had to get one to save. |
Vodka and Capri Sun. Don't hate. It's actually much better than I thought it would be.

Not going to bother trying to find an eating topic, so I just ate pasta salad and made no bakes. I tried out Fentiman's Curiosity Cola, and found it to be too heavy on the ginger. I imagine I'll love the orange and lemonade varieties, so those are my next two choices. I also wanna try the dandelion & burdock, but have no idea what to expect.

I was drinking tennents too, but apparently MB didn't like the pic. The first bottle of Buckfast was a nice bottle, second was rancid. I've never drank Buckfast sober in about 4 years no joke. Sends me off my head the same as Vodka.

I'll drink Coke can with french fries tonight.........:shycouch:

Last night I had a 40 oz of some stuff called Cold Creek Ice and some stuff called Perfect 10. Found out they were both made by the same brewer as Thunderbolts are. Albertan pride!
|
Going to Hollingshead Deli tonight to partake in some Lost Abbey Cuvee De tomme. They have several great selections and their food is really good also. Check out that tap list.
