Sam Adams Sam '76 Pale Lager.
This is a good balance between a lager and a pale ale. Hops are very present, but they aren't in your face like they would be on most pale ales or especially with IPAs. It has really nice, light flavor that I think can appeal to both fans of microbrews and macros like Bud and Miller. I thought it would be a little bit hoppier though, and it's also about the same price as local microbrews so it'd be on the spendier side. Overall, it's pretty damn good though and I'd recommend it. |
