about 50% more - I suppose it's the rental - the supermarket is in a high-end shopping centre (Kuala Lumpur Shopping Centre) while the restaurant is in a pretty much discarded older building for cheaper offices

ahh okay.

I will probably have to go to a liquor store to find sake, I doubt I could find it in my local grocery store lol

don't you have any Japanese grocery stores in your area?

if there are Korean stores, ask for sochiu, which is quite similar, though the alcohol's content's higher so take it easier with that

Not in my area but if I go to NYC, I would probably find one near chinatown.

This is what I'm up to now, although after the amount of tequila I've had I don't think it matters what I'm drinking.

I need this in my life!

I've got 4 of these all for me tonight. Brewed right here in Christchurch this stuff is liquid gold. Only downer is it's not cheap at $7 a pint.

ThePhanastasio 03-04-2011 08:21 PM

I went for cheap tonight, and something I've never had:

http://www.thebeveragestore.com/medi...specialcan.jpg

Got a sixer of these bad boys. I like Negro Modelo, never had this stuff, and it was about the same price as a sixer of PBR. We'll see how this goes. I'm not overly optimistic, nor am I a fan of cans in general.

When I first started drinking, having a glass of wine alone made me feel very adult... Now, it just seems kinda sad, like I need a bunch of cats.

Wine doesn't need to have company for you to enjoy it like people do with beer but I guess that just depends on the type of person you are.

I can drink alone and not feel guilty about it to the point where I feel like a sad individual for it.

At least you'll be drinking great wine as the crazy cat lady.

VEGANGELICA 03-17-2011 07:07 PM

Filtered water

and

Rice Dream Rice Drink, Vanilla enriched (with real vanilla!). It tastes cold and a little sweet, like a melted milk shake, but lighter. Deeelicious. :)

Howard the Duck 03-17-2011 08:49 PM

probably some Jolly Shandy (1% alcohol)

You'd be better off drinking Scope or Robitussin.

Howard the Duck 03-17-2011 09:50 PM

^^not aiming to get high, it's a nice cool drink

djchameleon 03-17-2011 10:47 PM

I decided to stay home and enjoy some of these instead of going out and lowering myself to drinking green beer

I say that I made the right choice

Switch to whiskey. Then you'll just feel like an alcoholic. Much more respectable. Or scotch, then you'll be a distinguished alcoholic.:D

FETCHER. 03-18-2011 11:36 AM

I haven't drank in two weeks today, smirnoff nostalgia :(.

Grolsch... Far from the best Dutch beer :D.
Hope you enjoy it eitherway!

Mojo 03-18-2011 08:08 PM

I already did. :)

s_k 03-18-2011 08:13 PM

Good.
You might want to see if you can find a store that sells Alfa Beer. Most people love that. I'm a big fan of Amstel myself, when it comes to lager. But no one dislikes Alfa. You may want to try that.

Dirty 03-18-2011 08:14 PM

Also drinking this

http://www.drinkhacker.com/wp-conten...each-vodka.jpg

again, showing off how masculine i am!!

They were both on sale for like $7 each, couldn't say no. First time in a looooooong time ive just drank liquor and not beer....can already tell im gonna get sick later

I've never had that one. I like Amstel though.

s_k 03-18-2011 08:20 PM

Alfa is sweeter, has a bit more body and you can drink it endlessly without feeling ****ed up the next morning or tired when you've had a few. It just makes you happier :).
It's the perfect beer for a party.

The Virgin 03-19-2011 09:24 AM

i'm drinking Carlo Rossi red wine...right now

ReadyWhenCalled 03-19-2011 09:28 AM

Jose Curevo;)

Dirty 03-19-2011 07:55 PM

Cuervo rules. With lime. I can't do straight tequila, i gotta have a lime to suck on, then i can drink it all day.

Im still drinkin the Pinnacle Banana. For the record, Smirnoff Peach is terrible. Explains why it was on clearance and they are taking it off the shelves. But i like the banana vodka mixed with lemonade... tasty

Bloozcrooz 03-20-2011 12:17 AM
