They have it on tap at Ye Olde Ship Inn at the moment. Its passable. I usually opt for the Twisted Thistle when it comes to English Pubs.

Nah, Rosés are pretty decent too, especially if you mainly are a white wine person. Incorporating just a bit of the skin from grapes to give it a bit more color, but not enough to be a red. I'm more into whites myself, but I really dig my merlots.

http://i.imgur.com/ishXBop.jpg Not sure if this is the one Goof was on about when he said Hobgoblin but they never had any King Goblin this week, just 'Gold Hobgoblin'. Smells & tastes lovely. Two of each. Bombardier is great as well. It boggles the mind as to why pubs/off licenses only tend to sell shit beers like Carling/Stella/Carlsberg/Fosters when they could easily sell this stuff. I'd happily pay a bit more instead of going to the supermarket. |
