"That's one damn fine cup of coffee"

On my 4th cup today and will probably make at least one more.

Surell 03-22-2009 09:19 PM

I don't dig coffee that much but that looks might tasty.

Looks like it's been pressed, you get that foam when you press it, probably should know why considering I do my coffee that way at least 4 times a day. Anyway it's a lot better than drip coffee, however it requires slightly more work and you can only do one cup at a time.

Surell 03-22-2009 09:38 PM

The only time I ever get coffee is when we stop at a truck stop going on a trip. I'm no coffee expert. Sounds yummy though, I just thought the color looked muy delicioso.

But the results are more than worth the effort! I have a large press tht does @ 3 cups.

Oh no doubt man, since I moved back to Reno and have been drinking pressed coffee I don't think I'd willingly go back to drip.

jackhammer 03-23-2009 06:03 AM

It's my B'day today and it's a cliched choice but who cares:

Jack and I are going to have a good chat later.

PinkCigarette 03-23-2009 05:16 PM

Happy birthday :)

I'll probably just settle for a cup of French Vanilla Cap tonight. Or two. Or five.

Before I moved back to Reno I stocked up on coffee from a local Vancouver shop called "JJ Beans". I like their dark roast, however I have been drinking more starbucks lately, gives me somewhere to walk to and well... sometimes walking is just the way to go.

What are some decent American brands that could be found at any grocery store?

This question is open to everyone, not just Savannah.

I got a $180 bottle of this last time I got home from deployment. I handed everyone shots. Two people put coke in their glasses. I'll never forget that.

The brewery isnt technically in Newcastle anymore but its a stones throw away really. Just incase you find yourself looking aound the city centre for it, it aint there. God, i love Brown Ale.

See that's the funny thing about me, I really don't like ales very much but there are certain brands that I love, Newcastle being one, another is a Canadian one called Alexander Keith's (not technically a brown ale, but still made the same way) and Guinness.

And thank you for that tid bit of information, knowing me I would've just gotten tired of trying to look for it and do a pub crawl instead.

Mojo 03-24-2009 09:05 PM

The pub crawl will not be an issue in Newcastle! If you need directions just ask the nearest pissed bloke kicking the **** out of a bus stop.

Sounds like me back in Vancouver, I think I'll fit in just fine... well except for my accent.

Mojo 03-24-2009 09:08 PM

British people love accents. Gives us an excuse to mock you and we live for that stuff.

Yeah but the kicker is I'm a British citizen through my dad, have the passport and everything.

Mojo 03-24-2009 09:12 PM

Yeah but we will still enjoy mocking your accent :P
