Out of the bottle. Had four and am tipsy, which is quite good really. Would usually drink more but work beckons.

Tonight we're drinking a local craft brew from Karbach called Sympathy for the Lager. 4.9% ABV, hoppy but smooth tasting. I'd take it over most other lagers I've had any day of the week.

Seems to be alot of people switching to cans recently, interesting.

The newest addition to Stone Brewing. Have to pick up a few when the bottle limit increases.

Nothing tonight, but if my A-level results don't go well tomorrow I think I'll be drowning my sorrows.

Yeah, I've noticed this too and read a few articles on some up and coming micro and craft breweries who are using them exclusively and making the argument that it's better. Not only for the environment (more recyclable, takes less energy to produce, etc.), but because cans keep the beer fresher for longer by allowing no light to pass thru to the beer. I've heard this before as an argument for repackaging other products (milk: cardboard vs. plastic, shampoo: solid plastic vs. clear plastic) so I guess it makes sense, as the light breaks down the product faster.

Anyway, I haven't noticed a substantial difference in the way beer tastes from a can vs. a bottle, but if it's better for the environment then that's pretty cool.

without me? I want to join in.

I had like two shots of vodka last night because I didn't want to over do it on a weeknight but I'm thinking of getting sloshed tonight though.
