*weeps*

Dude, that sucks. We've got government controlled liquor stores here in Virginia, but at least you can still buy beer just about anywhere. Delicious, cold beer. Not to mention a 40 oz. I'll pray for you.

^Yeah, thats almost as bad as prohibition. At the rate I drink beer, I'd likely end up spending a few hundred a week on it.

I had one of these last night. I bought it because I had never had nor seen it before but it wasn't great. I found it fairly sweet, fairly easy to drink, fairly crisp and none of that was necessarily a bad thing. It had a bit of a dry finish which I didn't find particularly appealing. Pretty average blonde ale.

Couple Racer X's. Been meaning to try it as I drink primarily Double Ipa's. At 8.3 its right at the brink of being highly drinkable, should be nice for a fall evening.

It's apple cider season here in the U.S. Loving the sudden selection of ciders. Going to have a few apple/ginger cocktails, may add a little bourbon for extra kick. And it just gets better when eggnog season rolls around.

Mmm.

So that beer was my go-to beer for being cheap as well as deterring my roommates at the time from drinking all my beer. They'd go as low as to drink my Molson Canadian, which is pretty much like drinking moose piss, but they wouldn't drink my Dude Beer.

On topic though, I'm drinking a warm milky cup o tea.
Is that what it's like in BC? Or was like? Damn. We have government controlled liquor and beer stores in Ontario too, but there is a really wide selection of beers and wines and other drinks, often at fairly reasonable prices and sometimes even on sale!

Take up winemaking! It's a rewarding hobby that definitely pays off if you're underage.

Of course, hiding a vineyard from your parents could be problematic.
