Got two of these bad boys. Gotta check out Noble ale works Bob. This double is a very outstanding 8.5 double. Hardly noticeable alcohol aftertaste. Great blend of hop notes and malts. I think its gonna be another go to west coast ipa in the Mongo/sculpin/pliny neighborhood. |

Moving on, sticking to northern distilleries, in the afternoon it was: Excellent stuff for any time of the day. It's quite young but the flavors come out nicely. Bottling it at 43% or 46% would have been ideal (as opposed to the default 40%). |

Started with this tonight:
Excellent. Can't recommend it enough. Then this: This and Shiner Bock are my safe beers when I don't know what to order. Then I had this: God damn...I tried to order Karbach Hoppadillo but the pub was out, so they offered me this. Karbach is a local micro-brewery here in Houston, and I usually love their stuff. But this was too much for me. Good flavor, but the alcohol content was tasteable, if that makes sense. I don't like to taste the alcohol. Me no likey.
