I don't understand how you think classic rock music has no emotion. Pretty much every song has emotion.

I don't dislike the classic rock bands because they are old.

I simply don't enjoy their music!

I'll admit that it is more creative than the stuff I listen to, but it just doesn't appeal to what my brain enjoys listening to!

The Sonics have 50 times the energy of any Metalcore band.

All music has emotion, be it apathy, despair, fear, sadness, love or happiness. You happen to relate with Metalcore more. Now stfu.

Parkway Drive > The sonics when it comes to emotion. I've heard them both a ton.

People need to stop stating facts like what they say is right.

Music = opinion.

Saying older music has no energy or emotion is just stupid. He can have his own opinion but it is pretty much a fact that old music consists of both energy and emotion so yeah, he's pretty incorrect on that "opinion". He doesn't have to like it but to say classic rock is void of these elements is just silly.

Ok...You're entitled to you opinion...But guess what...So is everyone else, and everyone has different tastes, so everyone will enjoy different things. Do you understand now? I won't bother arguing about Metalcore since you'll grow out of it if you stay here anyway.

The **** do you expect? If you come to a music board and trash every band not from the past 20 years do you think people will be nice and polite to you?

Alright, I agree...it is a fact that old music has energy and emotion.

In that time, they were heavy as fawk.
