This is completely off-topic, but I thought "I'm just a man, who is learning how to fall" was brilliant. Cheers.

Why do so many people consider classical music to be so great? It seems like everyone gives a ton of credit to older music, like metallica, led zepplin, black sabbath etc. But i don't see what is so good about it. Yeah, it is good music don't get me wrong, but i don't see how anyone can stand to listen to a whole sabbath album and say it is freakin EPIC. Yeah, everyone has different tastes, but for kids like myself who weren't around in that era of music, since the style has changed drastically, i just can't see why so many people like it so much.

Personally, i think most classical music is good, but i don't consider it great anymore. Maybe 15 years ago it would fly, but now days it just sounds so boring.

dude im probably younger than you and i hate new music, i love the older music IT IS EPIC

That's just as bad. Why not be open to all music whether it's new or old?

This thread has reaffirmed my belief that we should have an affiliate, 'training camp' site for noobs. Only once they have displayed an eclectism or at least knowledge in music will they be allowed to enter the parent site. Fascist it may be but it would save me the pain of having to read posts by idiots like this
