there's also a chain in dallas, i dunno if they have them in houston, called tin star,....their barbacoa tacos are the best,.....they also have a nice patio,....

Have you ever had fried fish with a dry batter? U know, like... cornmeal. Or fish fry.

Agree totally.
The crispier the batter, the better.

Actually, the only reason the fish is on that plate is because it was the only decent pic I could find of chips, peas, pudding and gravy.

Chips are delicious. Not the bag kind, the kind you slice out of a real potato and fry.
