Default CD Art Display - Awesome free program for music lovers

First of all, this app is free, and I have no connection to it at all. I just love it and think everyone should know about it. I'm therefore not promoting, but rather sharing

It's basically a remote control for your music player that sits on your desktop. It shows the cover art and track info for the currently playing song, and can be used to play, pause, stop, and skip tracks.

It's fully skinnable, and is the easiest app I've ever skinned. Plus there are a few hundred great skins out there, both on the main site and on deviantART.

It works with foobar, WinAmp, WMP, iTunes, and more. Any player that uses WinAmp's API for sending track info can use it. The only big player right now that isn't compatible is Songbird I think...

Link is below. Remember it's freeware!

Here's my current setup. The skin is a modded version I made of the default skin that comes with the program.

I actually use this, it's kinda cool, or at the very least, some nice eye candy on your desktop.

Could you hook me up with your skin btw?

EDIT: wow that sounded awful.

sure thing. just extract this to your skins folder, replacing the current Default 2 skin. it will add the large version from my screenshot as a sub-style.

Downloaded it. Ultimately pointless but pretty all the same!

well, there aren't different versions of the program. just download it, and in the preferences, tell it you're using itunes. it's that easy!
