yeah, try learning to speak it, then you won't think it's so funny! it's often considered to be one of the hardest languages in the world

i passed through croatia once. took a train from Skopje to Zagreb, then flew out. didn't see much unfortunately...

hope to go back sometime, if only to just hang out in one of the touristy spots on the coast

I can imagine. I think it's fascinating that it's so far removed from anything else spoken in Europe (along with Finnish) that they had to create a special language group for them...
