Well I was born here:
San Francisco, which is awesome. (Yes, I totally stole your picture WWWP) But when I was one we unfortunately moved here: New Haven, Connecticut, which is lame. Being in a college town is not fun when you're not actually going to college. |

I grew up here in Belgium, in fact my house is somewhere in this pic but it's not high enough resolution for me to pinpoint exactly where, and it may be blocked by the neighbor's house which was taller and in a slight mound.
After a 9-month stay just north of Milwaukee (Glendale), I moved to the suburbs of Chicago (Naperville) for 6 years. Then I moved to a suburb north of Houston (The Woodlands) and stayed in various parts of Houston, including the city, for *gasp* 14 years... Before moving to Seattle 3 years ago.

This is my hood, 5 miles north of downtown. There's a zoo in there, and I've never been to it despite living right across the street.

I never posted any pictures of here, which I totally should do:
All Lebanon looks like this from the top. That's where I'm from, so the origins of my family (we have this obsession with knowing every person's origins) - It's called Deir Al-Amar (as in "House of the Moon"). It's a pretty touristic place, usually visited by beige-shorts-wearing Europeans (sadly not in that photo, cause they're probably the ones taking it). A pretty neat place, that we have to visit to vote, and do these legal paper stuff (à la Joseph and Mary goes to Beitlehem). It was actually the old capital (like 200 years ago). --------------- Now I live here, a town called Adma, 27 km to the north of Beirut. It has a nice view of the mountain and the sea, which is cool: I found a map of it, here's my house (in red, how to get to my home, coming from the highway road): The view to the sea, in Autumn ... totally rad: *** Sorry for the Amateur pictures --- none of the pictures were taken by I.

^ It's pretty chaotic, between buildings and Green
It kind of looks like a customized land (à la Pimp My Car).
