I love Scottish, Irish and Australian accents.

British accents are hot.

I absolutely love Irish accents, though not on a woman. And I think Aussie accents are sexy, given the right circumstances.

If you go too far north or south in the United States the accents get to be retarded. Bostonian/Brooklyn accents are horrible, as is the southern drawl. And then there are backwoods accents that are hilarious in every situation.

People with a strong Pittsburgh accent sound like ****ing idiots. The worst part is the radio hosts often try and make themselves sound even stronger just because there in Pittsburgh.

I have a Glaswegian accent weakened by New Zealand and my dad's strange mix of South Arican and Scottish.

Well goddamnit. I had what I thought would be the fun idea of posting my voice and seeing who could guess exactly where I'm from, and I even went ahead and created a short recording--only to discover I can't upload any audio files . Oh well. I tend to sound like a little girl anyway, so I guess this will just save me the embarrassment of people asking, "How old are you, anyway?"

Btw, I have a particular fondness for Russian and eastern European accents.
