I can't think of an accent i don't like. Welsh, Irish, Brummie, Manc, Scouse (sorry) Geordie, basically every European country i can think of, all brilliant. My mum being geordie and my dad being brummie and a middle-class background means i sound like nothing though which is crap. I particularly have a thing for russian accents right now. Phwoooar. |

i forgot about Russian... Scottish too. And Irish. Latin. Just anything that isn't newsreader English.
I suspect you'd be quite surprised to hear the real accents of certain posters, compared to how you imagine their voices when you read off the screen. All of this could safely go under the 'you know you spend too much time on MB when...' thread |

I generally dislike the Dalmatian accent, but that has more to do with the fact that they're redneck assholes who refuse to speak standard Croatian which makes them sound even stupider than they are. I also dislike the Istrian accent. Curiously enough, both accents are a result of heavy Italian influence, and I love Italian...
And yes, this thread should have been named "English accents". >.>
