Tinnitus, who else? (effect, speakers, concerts, quote, 50s)

I've been suffering from tinnitus for the last two months. It drives me crazy. Time passed since this topic was created, and I wonder whether there are ways to get rid of ear ringing.

I’ve had Tinnitus in my left ear since I was eighteen and blew it out with loud music on headphones. Fifty-six now. I’ve lived it with it so long. For those newly suffering. Worry not, in time your brain ignores it, and you're able to focus on other things as well as go on with life. But it will always be there in the background. I’ve tried everything in all that time to find relief and going to visit Audiology Island next months. Heard some good things about those guys, so really hope they will help me.
