Merry Christmas everyone

Hope the big fat man is kind to you all. I'm now off to work on my own personal favourite Christmas morning tradition which is of course the monster hangover.

jackhammer 12-24-2008 11:45 AM

Have a good one fella.

Stopped drinking about an hour ago.
Bad idea...my head feels like it's in a clamp right now.
Sort the kiddies pressies out, then back on the pop. :)

that's happy holidays to you

jackhammer 12-24-2008 02:05 PM

I can't stop once I've started, I get fuzzy head syndrome so it is all or nothing. I do try not to drink during the day though if I can help it-it cost's me too much :(

Tell me about it. Almost £3 a pint round our way. :(
Drinking during the day takes it's toll only if you stop.

Here's to another pint.

Don't really do chocolate, even at Christmas. I have a bottle of Jim Beam ready to crack open though sometime. Have to have it neat as I forgot to get a mixer :(

Urban Hat€monger ? 12-24-2008 02:12 PM

I've got a bottle of 80% absinthe.

You may be looking for a new mod in the morning.

You finish that and you'll be looking for a new brain.

Right then...off to me mams to get the boys bike.

Laters.

right-track 12-24-2008 02:15 PM

Second thoughts...off to Urbans to help him with that absinthe.

jackhammer 12-24-2008 02:17 PM

I had a bottle of that a few months back. God damn it's good stuff. Thank god I don't smoke or I would have gone up in smoke!

My Xmas is cancelled for a couple of weeks because everybody is ill.

My Dad's been in & out of hospital for weeks & went back there tonight. My mother has Bronchitis , my sister has flu , my little nephew got flu so badly he was hospiatlized. I'm still getting over the virus I had a couple of weeks ago & missed my works xmas meal last night because I wasn't up to it.

At this rate my Xmas will be me sitting with my mum watching Doctor Who eating turkey burgers & chips :(

jackhammer 12-24-2008 02:31 PM

Sorry to hear about that fella. All in my house have had flu for a couple of weeks. I never seem to catch anything so I should count myself lucky.

right-track 12-24-2008 03:00 PM

That's terrible Urban.
Best wishes to the family. Get well quick.

I sorta know how much that sucks, last year my dad was hospitalized dec.22 due to congestive heart failure and we postponed christmas until march when he finally got out! This year my grandmother broke her wrist on the 23rd but we still had christmas-she just couldnt cook so my aunt and I got stuck making the meal.

Happy Holidays everyone.
