She's a 1955 Vauxhall Velox EIP

Right here goes. After driving past this derelict old car for many weeks i approached the owner, parted with $90.00, got a trailer and took it home.

Then things got ugly. The ex did her block at yet another car and threatened me with leaving(which happened anyway, but not because of the car)

A thorough check revealed the car was actually a pile of ****, no panel undented or rusty, the motor was seized and the interior ravaged by time.

I contemplated scrapping it until i was offered 4 doors and a boot lid for free.
over the next 4 years off and on i slowly set about bringing her back from an undecided fate. All up i've invested way too much on her, but you never see them on the road anymore.
The only 2 things that weren't done by me were the rechroming and the upholstery
I've just bought a velox of the same vintage, but this time a rare as rockinghorse **** utility. It could very well be too far gone to do anything with.
