I think Best New Poster would have been a lot different, but a lot people took it as "best new poster who joined in the last month" because in 08 we had LS Sweet_Nothing Alfred and a ton of other people who joined earlier in the year.
We have taken this on board and have plans in the new year to address this. Watch this space!
