Yeah that's how it is where I live too, and I'm in the US. Except in my area junior high is grades 7-8, and high school is 9-12. Then in college, if you go to a large university it's usually four years and goes from freshman, sophomore, junior and senior. I'm a senior.

The American school system sounds confusing

Yay I'm done with my finals! I'm on break until January 10th.

I'm almost done, but i've been staying up till 3 in the morning every night for the past 2 weeks trying to meet my sh*tload of deadlines. tonight its nucelar physics, oh the joy. I think I actually might shoot myself.
(well not really, the red bull I drank earlier has calmed me down a lot :) )

on a side note, thursday night I was up until 5 in the morning doing physics. Went to sleep for 2 hours (didnt even bother to get changed or wash my face or anything, didn't even take my jewlery off), went to school till 1 in the afternoon, then fell asleep until 6:30. woke up, got ready to go out and went clubbing with two friends from school and one of my friend's cousin who was in town from edmonton. Fun night, me and my one other friend were driving, but laughing at his cousin's hilarious drunken comments was VERY entertaining.

in australia, assuming its all the same it goes the same as jibber, but theres no "junior high" just high school 7-12.

and it is a very good feeling, still, to have finished school and just be able to enjoy the summer. i got back from queenslad today(top of aus) went into a supermarket and someone thought i was mauritian. i guess i do have a bit of a tan...

uh..yeah...responding to the title/first post or whatever...finals week sucks a lot...but it sucked even more for me than usual, i got trashed and decided to longboard down a huge hill...face planted and got some nasty brain damage...and one of the permenant things that came from it was that i can't drink any alcohol without getting a crippling migrane (the last one was so bad that i hallucinated some weird crap).....just think...no alcohol for the rest of my life.....folks, if you skate, wear a helmat....because not only is your head at risk...your fun is at risk
