OMG - I can't believe you KIDS are complaining about school. I graduated 2 years ago and have a lot more crap to complain about now than I had then. Its the best years of your life so just enjoy it!!

that's nice, but did you ever think that maybe we have a way bigger work load than you did? I'm guessing when you were in school you didn't have an average of 5 hours of homework a night, not to mention a s*it load of stuff going on after school.

Oi_To_The_World 12-07-2004 09:41 PM

^ i think maybe we should all specify what we mean by school- high school? undergraduate (4-year or 2-year)? graduate level? cause yeah, there's quite a difference in terms of work load. josie probably assumed we were all talking about high school...

jibber 12-07-2004 09:49 PM

well I am talking about high school...I just happen to have a rediculous amount of work to do this semester, and it's going to get worse around march

Oi_To_The_World 12-08-2004 03:07 PM

^ i guess it depends what your major is. cause engineers and pre-meds are definitely not going to agree with you there.

i am not emo 12-08-2004 03:17 PM

how old are you when you guys are in highschool because we have 'senior school' till you're around 16, and then you go to college until you're around 18, and then university....do you change schools at different times in the states?

jibber 12-08-2004 05:26 PM

i'm in canada, we have elemetary school, kindergarten till grade 6, then junior high school, grades 7-9, then high school, grades 9-12. I'm 18 in grade 12 right now, but I'm one of the oldest in my grade.

I didn't mean for my post to sound rude or to offend people. Oi To The World is right I did assume you guys were talking about high school.
