It's not really like that at all. It's more like if the girl in the Wendy's logo appeared darker than usual on one sign. I just don't see the humor. Why is Big Boy with a tan funnier than Big Boy without a tan?

Also, still don't understand the connection you were making earlier between "white" and "all-American".
