A question to vegetarians

If we managed to create a sentient computer that was smarter than us, would you condone it using our biomass to power itself due to it being smarter. That's a similar argument.

if it had solutions to a lot of problems plaguing mankind, i would have no problems sending a few sacrificial lambs to it or even power it myself

Because of the laws of kashrut (Jewish food laws), I am not allowed to eat an animal which hasn't been slaughtered ritually by the shochet (kosher butcher), even where I would actively choose to eat meat.

Haha, well. I've watched a few episodes of Manswers, and my primary problem with it is that they focus on a small truth that men want to hear, and then they trim the information to fit the story, while disregarding any information that isn't entertaining. I've seen it done on a number of occasions where, f.ex. they'll tell you that beer is healthier to drink than wine, when the reality is that it may be better in one aspect, but not in the rest.

I don't mind so much that the whole show is about beer, sex, and bodily functions, so much as the information presented about them isn't all that accurate.

Understandable, Manswers isn't the first place I've heard that though, just the last place/time I've heard it so it was easy to refer to it.

lol who would believe that drinking beer is healthier than wine though?

I'm allergic to the fermentation process of wine. Gives me migraine headaches. Therefore beer is a healthier alternative.
