and i've already said that this is a rebellion verse to Judaistic law of "no pork", as "you can work on a Sabbath" was a rebellion to "do nothing on Sabbath" - the New Testament is partly a rebellion to the Judaistic law cos Jesus was a rebel neways, as Jesus, are we still on the God thing? and all I've got to say to Thee Virgin is:- |

the hardest for me to give up was chicken. i was never into pork or beef but i loved (still do actually) chicken. It's just i've decided to stop eating it altogether. eventually, i would like to believe i will have enough will power to give up fish too. do you work out? or into any sport?

i GAVE up chicken because: 1) my digestion is better with a pescetarian diet 2) i feel i have more energy 3) i generally feel better 4) i have diseases that went away with 80% raw food consumption 5) it's my small way of supporting animals rights because i love animals and love taking care of some of them. i particularly don't like the way chicken are farmed

chicken is pretty light as it is and if you claimed to have been brought up on vegetables and fruits then they would provide the fiber that you needed for digestion.
I could understand if you said Beef but still once you consume enough fiber your digestion will be the same

largely though, that's just how my body reacts to chicken. our bodies don't necessarily react the same way to the same food. my digestion is definitely better without it. i actually notice that whenever i eat a lot of processed food (wheat bread, rice, oatmeal, etc), my digestion doesn't work as well.

For the majority of people fiber helps with digestion, you are getting fiber in other ways though through the green type veggies that you are eating.

i understand you're reasons and i respect it. but i'm just wondering on the fourth one. do you eat your meats raw? i'm sorry it could be my difference in english understanding but do you mean to say you're not cooking your chicken here when you eat it or there's some hidden meaning here that i don't get.
either way, i've nothing against with you not wanting chicken, for the reasons that you gave, except the 4th one, i basically understand you. |
