i don't get why people opt to be vegetarians. i mean it's cool and all but they should try eating meat cause that's the standard thing humans should eat, unless you can't afford like living in a third world country or something.

Everyone has the right to follow their own moral standard. The world has evolved immensely since the time when man had to hunt for food. With this evolution there needs to be a change in thought as well; would you kill the animal yourself? As stated by Paul McCartney, "...if slaughterhouses had glass walls, everyone would be a vegetarian.” Many vegetarians follow an extremely healthy diet.

see? people don't give a damn about fishes getting caught thru fishing but feels like becoming a vegetarian when they see cows/pigs get killed when the two scenarios are just the same, killing an animal for human consumption.
