I do like Veggie burgers and usually have one instead of a meat burger as i'm not big on junk food at all.

How is it possible that making something taste like what something else naturally tastes like could possibly be better for you?

Some veggie stuff is bad and full of strange things. But a simple mushroom burger is delicious and wholesome. Life is all a question of balance really so I eat veggie food a couple of times a week. Most meat eaters should really.

Because even though it's a little blander, there's none of the fat of regular bacon that turns me off from it, I enjoy both, but when it comes down to it I'd pick veggie bacon over regular. I don't like much other veggie food though.

Soya does have a large carbon footprint though, which is why I tend to go for veggie burgers that are made out of bredcrumbs, beans, oats or hemp flour instead. But yes.. through our diet is one of the main ways we impact the environment unfortunately. Whats happening in the Amazon with soya is also happening with cheap beef, and in the Phillipines with Palm Oil.. its nasty business. |

The fat is where the flavor comes from.
